We are delighted to tell you that this appeal has been DISMISSED.

We have once again safeguarded Wrightington, against inappropriate development, by working together as a Community.

Thank you to all who have spent endless hours reading, researching, challenging and submitting objections. Also those who have written additional letters, attended meetings, produced and delivered many leaflets and managed the finances. The support has been overwhelming.

The additional financial support generously donated by you allowed the WRAT Pack to engage third party specialists and a planning consultant. This enabled us to produce 'expert' reports to challenge the applicant's assumptions.

We would like to acknowledge and thank the Parish Council, Local and County Councillors and our MP for their support throughout.
