Planning Objections
Below is a list of objection paragraphs relating to the planning of this proposed wind turbine. They are not in any particular order. Either cut and paste the relevant objections into your letter, or use them as seeds for your own ideas.

* We live in a green belt area, where building new structures is restricted and householders are often refused planning permission on the grounds that it is “not appropriate in the Green Belt”.

* This particular proposal will result in a loss of visual amenity within the green belt and Lancashire CC has stated that this area is of “County Importance” & “significant in local terms”.  I can therefore see no reason why it should not be considered in the same manner that other domestic planning applications are, and refused.

* The applicant has asked that planning permission should retain ‘full flexibility’. This is clearly unacceptable and full details must be required in any planning application submitted.

* I don’t believe our council should be frightened by wind turbine developers, just because they suggest that they might go to appeal if the planning application is refused.

Their first Duty of Care is to their constituents, and not large companies based in other counties.
